When combined in a sentence, any combination of words can bring us to a dead stop. A lot of times we refer to those "three little words". Usually it means, I love you. But sometimes it could be, I miss you, I hate you, Let's make love, Please don't go....
Three little words took on a whole new meaning to me today and stopped me dead in my tracks. I went to the post office this morning to mail my package instead of yesterday. The post office clerk is usually the same one and always has a nice hello, how are you, when I approach. Today he said something different that made me stop. Dead. In. My. Tracks.
I paid my $8.10 for the flat rate box and as I walked away he said, "Is he safe?"..........
My heart stopped for one second. My breathing quickened. I felt lightheaded. Quietly I managed to squeak out a "No". I didn't look back at him. Only opened the door to leave. He said, "I'll say a prayer". And that was all.
Three little words that effected me so much I was shaking when I got back to the car. I felt ill and wished more than anything I could lie down for awhile.
I don't think he'll be safe until he's home. But that's his job.

He's in our prayers too, Peggie.
I'm sorry. Sometimes those little reminders can shake us in such a big way.
I'm praying too.
He's in all our prayers, as are you and the kids. Hang in there sweetie, and know we're all pulling for you.
He is in our prayers too... and you and the kids are too.
You husband is so brave and so are you! I hope Andrew comes home soon. Any word on when? I know they just extended his duty. They have some nerve. Don't they know he's got a wife and kids!!!
I'm praying for him and can't wait to hear that he's in your arms again!
