I hope to be posting my "After" picture by tomorrow this time. Here's the "Before" picture that I just took about a half hour ago.
The balloons on the wall have been there since the last weekend of April. Three of the six chairs have stuff on them. Most of the floor is covered in craft stuff like paper, half finished projects, and things that are still "drying" 2 months later. I still have a few boxes stuffed in the back corner filled with those things that you just don't know what to do with. The biggest part of my job tomorrow will be finding a place for everything.

Hey there, stopped on over from cafe mom, I also have a blog. I'm so relieved to see someone else's dining room is a dumping room for all those,"I just know don't what to do with this" items. Then I clean and move it to the next room. lol. Have a great day!
I feel your pain! I also use my dining room area for crafts and sometimes have things laying around. I also use my dining room chairs for storage too. Once I decluttered I have been able to maintain it since I didn't want it to look like that again. I am sure once you post your after pics it will serve as inspiration to keep it that way. I have to take a before pic of my garage for you. DH and I are going to attempt to overcome that challenge this weekend. WIsh us luck!
Yay! I will see if I can get my pics uploaded this weekend... You should really see my kitchen... and my dining room... but I won't show you my bedroom... way too awful.
