After only two months of dating, if you could call it that because all we did was talk on the phone, my wonderful man drove from Savannah, GA where he was stationed to Wisconsin with a big rock in his pocket! I mean the ring, people!
Five months after that, dun-dun-da-dun... We were wed!
Now it's six years later and here I am, BY MYSELF!!! Ah... well... so is the nature of the beast! Duty calls and my man goes running and I'm left here to go out to dinner by myself. At least I have the kids to keep me company, though. So I can't feel too sorry for myself.
Here's a few of my favorite pics from that oh-so special day...
Once upon a time, a guy met a girl and she had her own little girl and he said, Sure I'll be her Daddy! And then he said, GULP! I'm going to be a Dad!
But it's all good! In November of 2004 Louisa was adopted by her Daddy and we definitely have a happy ending!

You guys are great~ 6 wonderful (although sometimes stressful) years, and 3 wonderful (although sometimes stressfull) kids!! So many congratulations to the two of you. And even though he wasn't standing next to you, he was there with you all the same! Beautiful flowers, too! Here's to the next 6 years- may they pass as quickly and happily as the last:)

Thanks Sandy! I love the pic of Louisa and DH! Before I walked down the aisle she did and I didn't see it, but he knelt down by her and said hi and gave her a hug and then walked her over to my mom. I didn't know he did that until we got the professional pics back and saw this picture! I was like, AAWWWWW.... That's so cute!!!
My, you are so beautiful! So is Andrew. I haven't seen a good pic of you before now. Six years is wonderful. Congratulations! Here's wishing you a lifetime of wedded bliss.
